Dr Jhoan Guerrero grew up in Colombia and moved to Australia in 2013 to study English, never expecting it would become his permanent home. He completed his Bachelor of Dental Science at one of Colombia’s leading universities before successfully passing the Australian Dental Council examinations and beginning his dental career in Australia.
Jhoan is currently a second-year registrar in the Prosthodontics specialty training program at The University of Queensland, where he is advancing his expertise in complex restorative, implant, and aesthetic dentistry.
He enjoys the combination of science, precision, artistry, and patient care that dentistry offers. He is committed to providing gentle, compassionate treatment and takes the time to ensure every patient feels comfortable, informed, and involved in their care.
His professional interests include crown and bridge restorations, dental implants, full-mouth rehabilitation, and cosmetic dentistry. He is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, functional, and confident smiles while educating them on maintaining long-term oral health.
Outside the clinic, Jhoan enjoys staying active. Whether he’s at the gym, exploring hiking trails across Queensland and New South Wales, or spending time at the beach, he values maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle
